However, if one chooses to take the risk and work for another company, accepting W-2's or 1099 and paying all due taxes, what are the consequences?
What is the probability that you will actually be identified by the authorities?
Also, what are the long term risks associated with such a move - as in when applying for the green card, etc.
Also are the IRS and Immigration databases linked up - if someone submits a SSN and pays taxes to IRS,will immigration automatically know that the SSN
is not authorized?
