Currently I am working On L1-B.
I am residing in US from last 3 years.
I am planning to apply for H1-B. Once my H1 is approved, can I still work on my L1B?
Also, do I have to get my stamping inorder to work with other employer with H1B or can I work with just approval notice?
When should I apply for H1B?

If you apply April 1, 2008 and your H1 and change of status L to H is approved you can start working with your new H1 employer by Oct 1, 2008 without any visa stamping. After Oct 1, 2008 you are H1 and not L1.
