What is the minimum time you need to be out of country

I am on H1 visa now. I was out of USA for around 5 months. Can that period be added to my H1 visa, or is there any minimum period(like 6 months) limit.

You can add the 5 months period to H1 visa once you reach 6 year limits. One of my friend has added his vacation days which he spent in india to H1 visa.
