Hi, I am a Canadian student finishing up my B.Ed degree. I have a contract from a school board in the U.S. for a position as a teacher to commence in August 2004. They do not have the funds to sponsor me, but they will fill out whatever paperwork they can etc. etc. I will need to cover any costs. I cannot afford an immigration lawyer. Will I be able to do this on my own? What is the first thing I should do? Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
