My H1B Visa 6yr limit expires in Apr 2004. As my current H1-B approval was expiring in oct 2003, I have applied for the extension of my H1-B approval in sept 2003., but during applying petition for the H1-B extension , i did not submit any proof of eligibility for the 7th yr extention. ie., applied LC for green card 2 years ago.
Does INS approves my H1-B only until apr 2004 ?
OR
Is there anyway INS will know that I am eligible for the 7th year extension, even if no proof of applying LC for green card is sumbitted to them., and approves upto Apr 2005 i.e., Apr 2004 + 1 Yr Extension included ?
I am little bit confused with this situation. please give your opinions.
