Guest repliedH1B extension beyond 6 years
Dear Friends,
I am completing my 6 years in H1B. I got my labor approved and applied for I-140, I-485 and I-765 recently.
To obtain my extension of H-1B status beyond 6-year, I should have my labor certification or I-140 pending for 365 days or more. I don't fall into any of the above category, But still applying for my 7th year extension. what will be my status if the extension is denied?
Thanks for your time in advance.
Regards,
Thiru.

Thanks for your reply, It is only 30 days since I applied for my EAD. Yes, I have the receipt notice for all three applications.
Thanks,
Thiru

If you have applied and received your EAD you are ok and can continue working.
Your Status will be working on an EAD and waiting for adjustment of status.
If its been 90 days since you applied for your EAD and have not received it - go to the local INS office and see if you can get a temp EAD.
Have you received the I-485 receipt notice ?Tags: None
