Travel and driver's license

Dear Mrs. And Mr.,

I have H1B visa and I am Iranian. I arrived December 2005 and I renewed my H1B visa until 2009. I have two questions:

Can I travel out of US (go to visit my family in Iran)?

My wife has H4 visa and she does not have the Social security number. Can she get driver license (Can she drive in US)?
