My wife is getting her H1B stamped at Delhi as this is the first time she's traveling abroad since her I-797 approval. My employer has filed a "outstanding researcher" application for me and I-140 and I-485 (concurrent filing) are pending.
(a) My question is, what should my wife answer on line 36 of form DS-156, "Has anyone ever filed an immigrant visa petition on your behalf?". Should she say yes?
(b)If so, who should she state has filed the petition- me or my employer.
(c) Does filing for green card have any affect on H1B stamping?
