I'm currently on L1 and Visa and I-94 both will expire in Sep-2008. Other company is ready to file H1B during April-2008.
I'm also planning for vacation, dates can be before April-2008 (before filling H1 papers) or it can be after April too.
So, what are different ways to transfer L1 to H1. I think one is Change of Status, but for that we need to have valid I-94. In my case, I-94 will be expiring on Sep-2008, so will there be any issues in getting extension? What is other way of transferring and what is your advice for vacation dates?
