Hi This is a for friend of mine. He had the following Q about his H1 Renewal:
Hi All,
My H1B visa is getting over in April 2004. My manager is novice to this
process and I need to figure out the procedure.
Can someone help me with a good website link or brief steps involved in H1
extension/renewal.
Background
1. Came on F1 and got a job with company X and worked for manager A. Manager
A did the H1 at location Y.
2. Company moved me under Manager B at location Z.
3. On my request company filed for H1 amendment two months back
4. H1 is expiring in April 2004.
Questions
1. Brief steps involved in H1 extension/renewal
2. Does H1 renewal need the employer to post the job position at two
location.
-- I need an answer for this specific question because my employer is on
hiring freeze.
