Hi,
I am working with a company which obtained my H1B visa (Form I-797A ) in April-2003. Recently there has been an acquisition (company restructuring) with another company. As a result of this acquisition, my company's name has changed. But my Form I-797A still bears the name of the previous company and I have no stamping of the visa in my passport.
Now I am planning for a trip to India and would like to get my VISA stamped in my passport.
Can I get my passport stamped with the Form I-797A bearing the old company's name without hassels or do i have to reapply for a new I-797A with my new company's name. Plz provide me with information as to what to do.
