1. Until the date on his I-94 form.
2. He can extend from US if he has valid reasons.
3. He need to apply for new H1, subject to cap.

B1 to H1
Hi
One of my friend is currently in USA, with a B1 visa. I want to know how long can she stay there on B1.
To renew the visa do she needs to come back to India. If her extension is done from USA only, does it going to have a bad impression on her applcation.
Secondly, how can her B1 be extended to H1.
An early respose would be highly appreciated.
