qestion of attending us consulate in other country..

Hi all,

i am in Canada right now from two months . well i got my papers from my company two days back my question is can i attend the us consulate in Canada and what r the chances of getting the visa.....? well as i came just two months back do i have to wait for some more months before attending the visa interview?

For many consulates, to attend an interview there, the rule is you can do that only if you are a resident in their area of jurisdiction. To prove residence you must be living there for last 6 months atleast. If you dont satisfy that criteria and still attend an interview, be ready to be redirected to the consulate where you belong to.
