I was working with Company A and the H1 with that company is valid upto August 2008. I resigned the company in October 2007. I dont have pay stubs from that Company after October 2007. Now I want to transfer my H1 to Company B. Will I be able to do that.

where have you been since Oct 207 in US or back in home counry and what status.
if you were not in USA then you are ok, you dont need pay stubs. If you were in USA and changed status to some other status then too you are fine.
But if you stayed in USA on H1 then you were out of status since you stopped working for H1 emploeyr and can be in trouble. Talk to a lawyer
