Hi,

My H1B visa is expiring in October, 2003. I want to extend my visa.

1) Which form should I use for extention?

2) My Wife is on H4 Visa. Which form should I use for her visa extention?

I was under impression that Form I-539 is only for the visa extension of dependents of H1B visa holder, not for the visa extension of H1B hoder. And to request and extension to H status of an employee, the employer should file Form I-129. I am confused. Please help me.

1) What are the documents to be submitted along with I-129 form?
2) Is I-129W form also required to be sent with I-129 form?

i129 and i1292w required

Give the answer if you know. It is not a children play and it is a serious business. I539 is only for dependent and not for h1b holder. Refrain from making wrong calls.

Hi KPR,
You need to submit both forms i129 and i129w
and i539 for your wife (dependent).

Immihelp administrator tried to screwup and wanted to land u in trouble.

It is taking more than 150 days for i539 approval and 90 days for i129 approval. Plan your trips accordingly.

Name spelt incorrrectly in I129 form

Hi,

After I got my visa stamped i found that my name was spelt incorrectly in I129 form. What should i do? Can i travel to US and at the same time apply for correction?
