Please advice

Hi.. I have query wrt my Surname..I dont have a Surname..

My name is spelled as YYYY X YYYYY

In my passport Surname is Blank and Full name is YYYY X YYYYY

In the petition approved documents, my name is return as LNU, YYYY X YYYYY

I heard in US last name or Surname is must and we'll face lot of problems.. if Last name is unknown

Please let me know should I change my Last name as YYYYY in Passport before going for stamping ?
If yes, will it matter as in petition document it is LNU?

I have stamping interview next week. Please advice, how should I go about this.
