Can I join another company while my current H1 being exnded?

Can I join another company while my current H1 is submitted for extension? Meaning, could the new company apply for my transfer of H1(planning to do premium processing for transfer)?

H-1B Transfer

Yes, you can! but nowadays, INS is asking for the approval of the previous H-1B petition before approving new one (Though it is legally not necessary).
So better to get the old one approved first.
