  • Tijuana Stamping - Wait Time

    Hi,

I have an appointment at Tijuana, Mexico for my H-1B extension in the first week of March. Could someone let me know if people are getting their visa stamped on the same day at Tijuana or should we wait till the next day or more for getting our visa stamped?

    Best Regards

The advice is plan on staying at-least 3-4 days after the appointment. There are delays due to PIMS verification.

Search the forum for rlevant post.

        Hi Chakri,

Our appointment is on 4th March. I know its not necessary to have Mexican permit/visa to enter Mexico. Did you take permit/visa? Also, do you know anyone who got their visa stamped in Tijuana? Wondering, if we can get back our visa the same day or not?

        Thanks

            Tijuana Wait time

My wife and I got stamping on Feb 22nd 2008, so that is the most recent date I could vouch for.
We got the stamping and received the passport same day at 3PM.
            No hint of PIMS yet.
            Good Luck
Got so much help from this forum so thouht of paying back a little bit.

                Mexico visa

I did not take one and I crossed the border by walk nobody really cared asking for it to enter Mexico.
That said again use your judgement.
