Can i apply H1 to my wife, while she is on H4

Hi Experts,

My wife is on H4 Visa. And her visa got expired by Sep 30, 2007. But she applied for extension and she got receipt number.

Can I apply H1 for her when she has not yet got extension approved?

Yes you can apply H1 "for: your wife while waiting for extension.
