Multiple H1B visas

I am planning to take up a partime job with another company, and the employer for the partime job is willing to apply for an H1B visa to enable me to work for him. Can I start working for this employer once he recieves the LIN number and also start getting the pay check. Does he need to apply for an H4 visa for my wife. I am on an H1B full time with another company, and my wife is on H4 visa on the basis of my full time H1B visa.

Immihelp please advise.

Your wife dont need another H4. Also I think once you get receipt, you can start working for other company.
