221(g) - Aap

Hi,

I attended H1 interview on 7th of Feb 2008 but could not as they issued 221 (g) AAP. On 16th Feb i received a letter from Chennia consulate (letter dated 7th Feb) saying my petition has been sent back to USCIS. But i did not hear any thing up to now. I have already been to Australia, Malyasia and Singapore for couple of times. Not sure why 221g has been issued. Can any one let me know how much time it may take for receiving reply from USCIS and also advice me whether i can write to USCIS for status

Hi Bhasker,

I attended on 1 Jan 2007 (last year) my petition was sent back to USCIS in May 2007 and still it is in the same state. So the time frame will not be short. Yet to get any information from USCIS or US Consulate.
