H1B transfer - H4 transfer required ?

Hi
I will be switching jobs from CompanyA to CompanyB soon and will need to apply for an H1B transfer. Please note that my H1B visa (with companyA) and my spouse's H4 visa are both valid until Dec 2010. Do I need to transfer my spouse's H4 visa along with my H1B? Or will my spouse's current H4 visa be valid even after I do my H1B visa transfer?

Yes it would be better if you do the transfer along with your's. There is no problem if she stays on H4 until it gets expired but before that you need to renew her extension based on your new employer H1 approval notice.
