H4 visa stamping in April and filed h1b

I have applied for h1b visa and my h4 visa interview is in april last week. Will there be any impact on my chances of getting H4 visa? Will VO will ask if I have applied for h1b visa? I searched on this forum but couldnt find appropriate answer.

---- If you have applied for H1 Visa then why don't you attend that as that is what you'll be interested in and you want to work on H1. It depends when is your H1 Visa interview. Is it before or after your H4 Visa interview?

---- When you say H1 Visa --- Do you mean filing H1 application or Visa interview at a US Consulate. Be clear on these matters

I have filed h1b petition (application not visa interview) which if I win lottery will start from Oct. 1st, 2008.
And my h4 visa interview is in april last week.
