Wait for new H1B filled or go with the old 221G status
Hi Everyone,
I have a confusing situation here….
I am currently holding a H1B approval, which I applied in 2007 through a US consultant and went for stamping last year in Aug 2007 got 221G blue form asking for further documents on project.
This year I had filled H1B through my current Indian employer and now my US consultant had sent me the documents on the project and asking us to drop the docs to consulate, if I drop the documents now does my H1B filled with my Indian employer would have any effect like getting canceled?
Which is the best thing to do
1) Either wait for the H1B visa filled by Indian employer (One of the top 3 known Indian IT firm)
Or
2) Drop the documents sent by US consultant and go with them if I get visa?
Pls advice me, your inputs are very much valuable and need for me right now..
