I am trying to research immigration options/issues that may be involved in trying to bring my aging mother out to live with me in the US. I came across this forum and was impressed by the knowledge and willingness to help. Can anyone explain to me the steps that I might need to take to make thos happen and what the expected timelines might be.

1. She can visit you using a visitor visa but she only "visit" in this case and cant "live" with you in the US.

2. You become a US citizen and petition her immigrant application.

3. You go back to your home country to live with her.
