---- If you are speaking about H1B applications for the fiscal year 2009 in the US, the process will start on April 01, 2008 and almost end on the same day as that many applicaitons will be received on the first day. Rest of the details can be had on the USCIS website
---- What do you mean by filing. You have to source an employer to file for your H1. By this time you should have completed this exercise by all means and be ready to send your application so as to reach USCIS by April 01, 2008. If you have already done so then good luck to you, just await the decision by USCIS
