Submitted passport after 221(g) - Pls reply

Hi All,

I have attended the interview in Jan 2008. They issed me 221(g) from for some more documents about the company, unemployment wage reports and notarised list of employees as i was not carrying these. And also ticked all the docs to submit again without passport.

Dropped all the docs in Feb second week and in reply for that on Apr 1, i got one more 221(g) asking me to send the passport.

I have dropped passport with DS forms today. Wht will be the chances of getting the visa now. Will there be any problem at this stage also?

I also hold B1 visa, Will they cancel B1 if H1B is issued. Pls clarify?

I think you should be getting your visa. I don't know the time frame though.

As for the B1, they should not cancel a valid (unexpired) B1. However, sometimes they do and they might.

You are almost done and You may get ur passport back in 7 working days ... might b Next Thursday
