Regarding recent duplicate application rule

Hi All,

USCIS recently announced a new rule for duplicate applications - will that applicable only for applicants applying 2 applications from the same company or for the applicants who apply 2 or more applications from different companies.

2 petitions for the same beneficiary by one employer is not allowed.

2 petitions for the same beneficiary by two distinct employers are allowed. I believe that this may not increase one's chances of getting picked in the lottery because of the way USCIS may run the ramdom selection lottery.
