L1 to H1 Visa transfer

Hello

I have L1 from TCS company and applied for H1 transfer from TEK systems.If approved will i have option of continuing on L1 or is it like i have to take H1 and work with TEK systems.

Any help / link / suggestion in this regard will help a lot.

Depends on if the H1b was filed as a COS or CP.

Hello,

First of all check with them if they applied for a Change of Status (With I-94) or a consular notification. If they did a COS, your status will be changed to H1B and you will no longer be in L1 Status. Usually the date will begin from 10/01/2008.
