9 th year H1b Stamping

Hi,
I wanted to go for 9th year stamping in chennai with my old Approval which I have till May 19th 2008, My company applied for my extension in April 2008 but I dont know how long it will take to get the papers.
So Is it a good Idea to go for stamping at this time with just one month validity of my h1 approval.
I a confused to take a decision any suggestions please.

You can go for 1 month visa extension stamping which IMO is a waste. Or rather upgrade the petition to PP and get a result sooner and get stamped until ** year.
