PIMS issue

Hi,
I am on H1b status changed from L2 on Oct 2007. Now am planning to go to India to get stamping. I heard that there may be unestimated delays if PIMS database has not been updated. My question is that if such issue happen, can I re-enter on my L2 visa(L1 holder still in US) and continue working on EAD? I am in an active project and cannot afford to take long leaves due to such issues. Pl guide

As long as your L2 visa is valid and L1 holder is there in the US, you can enter US on L2 visa.

PMIS delays are not unestimated. It can result in a delay of 1 week at the most.
