PIMS verification for H4?

Hello txh1b, and other senior members. Although, I am not going to stamp my visa for the new employer and planning to re enter with old valid visa from the previous employer with a new I-797 from current employer, Do I still need to do PIMS verification ( new I-797) for my spouse H-4? Please let me know if I am also required to do anything else! Thanks for the help and time in advance

Yes. PMIS is applicable to H visa type. Just send a copy of appointment, your H1 approval and her H4 extension notice to the consulate in Mexico/Canada.
