Hello All,
Need guidance that can we transfer H1B in India itself? Say for example - If i came back to India and do not want to join the same consultant, who have my petition and approval notice, can i do a change of employer here in India. I would like to inform you that I haven't done the stamping also of H1B yet, though i purchased the recipt for the same.

Please advice. Also how is the market in US for Java/J2ee (6Yrs Exp)?

Just find another employer. They can file a transfer (new petition that is not subject to cap as you have been counted once). They just have to include proof of your older approval. Nothing more special happens with the petition and is just like a regular H1b by all means.
