  • H1B Transfer - Workline Changed

    Hi,

I have a question. Kindly advice.

I have worked in India in .Net for 3 Yrs.

It's been 1 yr, Im working in US. But I'have been working in Java for this 1 yr.

Now I want to take a full time job in US in Java Technology.

But this needs my previous experience in India (which was in .Net) to be
    changed to Java.

So my question is, during a H1B transfer to the new employer, will it be a problem at USCIS/INS,
as this time i'm applying with a changed work line in my resume.

Will they compare the resume's in detail with the initially applied one(for H1B) ?

Will it be a problem in anyway ? Kindly suggest.

    Thanks
    Vanaja

Are you asking the forum if it is okay to lie on your resume?

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

Dont come back here when you land into a problem by doing this. These things aside, think ETHICS.

              Ethics?What?

Certain work places and professions have decided to keep that word only to the dictionary. Please do not use 'alien words' Ahhhh

              Happy week end.

You suggestion is disgusting! IT IS NOT OK TO LIE. (Yes, I am yelling.)

                  misread me?

                  I heard your yelling!

My posting was not intended to be suggestive and supportive of 'lies'

Just that many have thrown 'ethics' to the wind, especially in jobs pertaining to certain categories.

Read my sentence like this: Please do not use 'alien words' Ahhhh...certain people may not know the meaning of ethics.

I decided long back never to yell, but even disagree, softly though.

I am yelling at OP, not you Novice2007. I'm sorry that you took it that way.

There are many people here as frustrated as I am at those who would look to the forum for approval for misrepresentation when it does nothing but bring suspicion to other visa and employment applicants.

Anyone who bothers to read the back postings should realize that the majority of posters to the board are ethical, honest and forthright and more than willing to tell that lying is not OK. I personally appreciate those who make that point.

OP should also realize that lying on an employment application is grounds for immediate dismissal "for cause" with major employers. This would affect his ability to obtain a reference for another job.

novice, if u r or work for one of those 'certain workplaces or professionals' who 'decided to keep that word only to the dictionary' DOES NOT mean that everyone around belongs to the same 'certain' category. Excuse me n many like me who still exist.

                      Weekend was really good, thanks.
