  • H-1 Employer changes

I am holding H-1 with company A for last two years. In between I went on to work for company B for about two months and came back to Company A. When I came back to A, since I already had H1 with them, they did not file a new H1. Is this okay ? I am going to go for Consular processing in the next couple of weeks and do not have the company A's H1 stamped (I have the original approval notice - I 797) Will this create any problem with consular processing. However, when I and my family members went to Canada and reentered US, they let us enter on the basis of Company A's H1 notice - they made us write a new I-94 for company A(although we did not have the visa stamped with A)

Is this okay or is there anything to worry about specially in the light of consular processing ?

    Thank you .
