Pending Approval Notice with USCIS
Hi,
My petition has been selected in the Lottery during April 2007,
and subsequently my Employer received all the respective documents
from the concerned Departments.
Unfortunately he lost my H1B Approval notice and subsequently reapplied
for it during December 2007.From then, i have been getting the below
mentioned message on the USCIS website,when i check with the case
status.
Initially i have been informed that i should wait for 6 months to get
the duplicate approval notice.Now by end of MAY, six months is getting
over.
I would like to how to proceed further ?,if i didn't get my duplicate
approval before end of MAY.
Will this delay will have an impact, during my personal appearence for
VISA stamping ?
Pls guide me.

APPLICATION OR PETITION
Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case
processing has resumed.
On February 27, 2008, we received your response to our request for
evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we
need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call
customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or
written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless
fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing
and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing
dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our VERMONT
SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates.
You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case.
