H1 validity time/status change period

Hi,

I am currently on L1-Extension visa thru a company X. I got H1B approval very recently thru another company Y. This is fresh H1B approval, not L1 to H1 transfer. Due to personal reasons I need to go for vacation some time in Sep/Oct to my home country. While coming back after vacation I need to go for L1 visa stamping since I am on extension now.

So my question is, once I re-enter US in Oct/Nov with my new L1 visa, will my H1 approval be still valid. Can I apply for H1 visa after Oct/Nov.

H1 will still be valid as long as the employer does not revoke it. You can go for H1 stamping whenever during H1's validity.
