i Attorney,

I'm presently in USA on H1b and my wife is in India, her H1b got selected in the lottery for April-2008,and it approval on 3-june-2008.
I wanted to bring her here on June-2008, so planning to apply for H4 visa also.

Would like to know , whether is it legal to apply for H4 stamping if the H1b is already approved.
H1b will be valid after getting H4 ...?

Friends Please help me on this.....

H1b will be valid but to work, an amendment to change status from H4 to H1 has to be filed after entering US. BTW, Attoneys don't respond to posts on this forum.
