L1 to H1 transfer (221(g) case) - pls help

Here's my case -

I am working for company A on L1 visa now. In 2005, Company B sponsored my H1B but unfortunately due to 221(g) I didn't get stamping.

When I went for L1 stamping through Company A last year, the consulate asked me to withdraw my Stamping application that was pending with 221(g) through Company B, in order to issue me L1 for Company A.

Company B H1b case has been tranfered back to USCIS.

Question:

1. As I am currently in US though L1 , can I do a transfer of my H1B petition (that was sponsored by Company B) to another Company C and then do L1 to H1 transfer.


Any information will be appreciated.

If the petition was not revoked by the consulate, it can be done. Transfer to C from B and L1->H1 COS can be done at the same time or later on. It just adds more expenses.

How can I find out if the petition has been revoked or not?
