Not working for H1B employer

Dear Sir,

Please help me in suggesting your valuable input for my situation below

I am not in touch with my employer from five months and I am not on job all these months. Now when I called him, he said my h1 was cancelled and he is not giving any exact date.


Is there any way to check the H1B cancelled date?


If it is cancelled, do I have any grace time to process another H1B or convert to H4? Please let me know what I need to do now.

Please advice. I really need your help on this.

If you are not working for him and not getting paid the full salary, your H1 status is invalid anyway irrespective of what is he is saying.
