My company has applied for my H1B extension 8 months ago and now I got an RFE after so many months. My I94 expired 4 months ago. Now I was wondering what if my H1B extension is denied. To my bad luck my I-140 also got an RFE with in a couple of days I received my H1B RFE. My company's attorney has yet to respond to both the RFE.
Any suggestions are highly appreciated. I was wondering if there are any alternatives available for me to be in status. Is there any thing that I can do to be in status if my H1B extension gets denied. I am married person with a kid, this sudden development has disturbed our lives, I am even more worried because very recently a H1tranfer case filed by my company got denied after responding to the RFE, and I was wondering how worse it can go further in my case.
Thanks in advance for any help on this request. Please advise....

No other status changes permitted as the I-94 already expired. What is the RFE about? Each case is different and a denial in someone else's H1b shouldn't be something that should worry you. If your case and company are genuine, you will get through fine.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

You'll have to post details of the RFE for further advice. Looks like may be your company is not in good standing? If your employer is good and cares for its employees then everything should work out very well even after these RFEs. But if its one of those bloody bloodsuckers then I am seeing a welcome change recently. They are getting there, stricter by the day....
