Urgent Please - First time H1B visa appointment on 24th June

My first time H1B petition for FY2009 is approved with start date 1st Oct 2008,

I had taken visa appointment for 24th June at Mumbai,

Is there any rule that you can apply only 90 days in advance from your starting date? If yes, then it is not appearing at Mumbai Consulate / VFS site, in such case how VFS book your visa appointment?

You should ask VFS by calling them. It depends on the consulate to set such rules so that they can cater to the appointments based on what is needed first and prioritize their workload.
