H1B Transfer and Travel Please Help ....

I am going to change employers soon. The process was started on Nov 28. I will need to travel outside the country from Dec 23 thru Jan 20. By this time ofcourse, the H1 petition will be filed and I will be free to begin work for my new employer. But the H1 approval may not have arrived yet...

Should I anticipate any problem re-entering the country in such a case ?

I'd appreciate your thoughts on this please.

You would have trouble entering again on H1 as you would not have any valid H1 approvals.

Hi Immihelp,

I have a similar situation as smarwar with the difference that my H1B transfer hasnt started yet. I am still employed by old employer and the new employer is about to start filing H1B transfer.

In this case what are my options of travelling outside of US ?

Travelling between job change - h1 stamping

Hi,

I am working on h1 currently with one company and I have applied for h1 transfer with another company for a new job starting sometime in April. My current job will get over on March31st. Between the 2 jobs I am planning to go to India for 2 months after I get the receipt for my new H1. Can you please advise me if it will be a problem to get my visa stamped as I won't have any paystubs from my new job? I will have all my paystubs from my previous job. I am getting my H1 stamped for the first time. Any advise would be highly appreciated.
