H1 transfer Question pls help urgent

Hi

The date on my I-94 is jan01 and my visa is expiring in Jan.
My company is going to apply for the H1 extension may be in couple of days.Am i going to be out of status if my H1 transfer approval won't come before jan01? How long it will take for h1 transfers in VSC.

You won't be out of status if you apply for H1 extension before expiry of current H1.
