h4 extension or h4 restamping

Hi my husband initially had H1 with company A till Sep 2008 and i had my h4 also with the company A till sep 2008.
My husband changed his H1 to company B last year and got approval till july 2008.I didnt changed my h4 status.
Now my husband had applied for H1 extension with Company C and got his approval.
I didnt applied for my H4 extension yet(having valid I94 till sep 2008),now my question is we wanted to go india in Oct 2008 .
we want to go for restamping in canada in Aug 2008.
As my I94 is still valid can i go directly to h4 restamping along with my husband with out applying for i539 or need to apply for h4 extension(I539).

You can go for visa stamping as long as your I-94 has not expired. H4 visa extension is not needed in your case as your I-94 is still valid. If you want to stay past Sep, 2008, then you need an extension or a new entry with extended I-94 dates.
