Hi,
I am in H1B Visa held by Company A and I got a job through a middleman (Say Company B). Company B placed me with a client and I have been subcontracted by my Company A. Company B pays the hourly billing dollars to my Company A who in turn pay me salary. Here comes my question. My client reimburses travel expenses (for hotel,car,flight, per diem etc which I have incurred already and paid by me) to Company B. Can I get my travel expenses paid from Company B instead of Company A since it will save me time and paperwork? Is it legally valid since Company A is not holding my VISA? Your response is appreciated.
