In order to do that, you would have to transfer to F1 (student) visa.

You get H1 to work here full time.

You have to work as per your H1b requirements at all times. You can study Part time or full time (9 credits) in addition to work if you want to and can handle that.

No option to stay on H1 without working and studying. You can do a COS to F1 if you want to go to school on F1.
