Employer Letter format for H1 visa stamping

Hi

I am planning to attend visa interview in India(Chennai). I am working on h1 here.
Looks like I need to carry a letter from my empolyer to the visa interview.

Can anyone share the format of the letter?

My Dependants are also coming with me for the interview, should we include their names in any of the Employer letters ?

No specific format. Basic stuff like your name, joining date, pay info, contact info of the HR would suffice.

For dependents, the same stuff as above mentioning their relationship to you would do.

Letter from employer is simple with details of name, position, pay, start date etc.

We get our H1B and H4 visa on 24th June, there was no letter for spouse/child. On the basis of H1B approval H4 were approved.
