  • In-complete name printed in I-797C

    Hi...

My H1B petition got picked in loterry, and my employer sent me that I-797C document after a period of month, I observed in that doc that my Full name was not printed ( last 2 character were missing), i contact my employer, he said it will not make any issues...is that true??? please help me

Depends. If your name is longer than a train, the number of characters allowed may truncate it. If it is a mistake, it can still be corrected.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

      huh!

Not again. In my case, employer name was not complete and my name had a typo

How come USCIS makes so much mistake. Its a question of concern. Aren't USCIS cautious while doing data entry, especially when its related to immigration!!

Min the USCIS website shows RFE sent and so far i.e.07/14/2008 no advise from my employer about the type of RFE. They feel I may switch and gt transfer the H1B so they dont give me any feed back despite my repeated request.

I will better prepare to withdraw than to work with such suspicious employer. So far they dont send the LCA leave alone the RFE details. What will happen if I with my offer due to their behaviour
