H1 Extension - Claiming Vacation Time

ImmiHelp Board,

My H1 will expire in Nov 30, 2000 (6yrs). I have taken approximately 105 days of
vacation during my H1 status. Can I claim these days and extend my H1? Please share
your experiences and advise.

You can't claim that vacation time if you were on payroll at that time and took short vacation for say, few weeks.

I have taken 12 weeks family leave without pay in here US. i am still with the same employer. I was wondering whether that can be counted into H-1 extension. and what document required? Thanks!

Only the period for which a H1B holder is out of the country can be added. Otherwise 6 years is the max period without considering status of I-140 or I-485.
